ANCORA Network Data Privacy Statement
1. Privacy By Design
ANCORA is built with privacy as a core design principle. By default, all transactions, balances, and user activity are private and anonymous. This privacy policy describes what limited data is collected, how it is used, and your rights over your data.
2. Data We Do NOT Collect
The ANCORA protocol natively does NOT collect, store, or process:
Your name, email, phone number, or personal identifying information
Your transaction amounts, balances, or financial activity
Your IP address, location, or device information at the protocol level
Any personal data for marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes
No personal data is required to create a wallet, hold tokens, or use the network.
3. Limited Data Collection
Only the following data may exist on-chain or in network operations:
Decentralized Identifier (DID): Cryptographic public key identifier with no attached personal data
Encrypted Transaction Data: Zero-knowledge protected transaction data with no readable plaintext values
Public Key Information: Cryptographic public keys for signature verification purposes
Node Operational Data: Public node IP addresses and network information for peer-to-peer communication
4. Data Usage
Any limited data that exists is used exclusively for:
Network consensus and protocol operation
Transaction validation and double-spend protection
Peer-to-peer network communication
Anti-Sybil identity verification (without personal data)
No data is ever sold, shared, or used for advertising, marketing, or third-party commercial purposes.
5. Your Data Rights
Right to Anonymity: You have the right to use the network completely anonymously
Right to Control: You retain full control over your identity and data
Right to Delete: You may deactivate your DID at any time, permanently removing all associated data
Right to Access: You may access all data associated with your DID at any time
No Data Portability Requirement: No personal data is stored, so no data portability is required
6. Compliance
This policy is designed to comply with:
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA)
Global privacy best practices
Since no personal data is collected, most regulatory data requirements are inherently satisfied by design.
7. Third-Party Services
Third-party services (wallets, exchanges, explorers) may collect additional data. This policy applies only to the core ANCORA protocol. You are responsible for reviewing privacy policies of any third-party services you use.
